Falling in love
Is rather similar
To learning how
To swim
Or read
Or run.

Once you know,
What must be known,
It's hard to forget,
Even for a forgetful man,
Like yourself.

    I'm not familiar with Kay Ryan, but that didn't stop me from enjoying your poem. Like you, I used NaPoWriMo as a reason to resurrect my blog after a long hibernation. Good luck to both of us!
