For February, I'm planning on doing character sketches of people in my life as the posts.
I start with a poem for my roommate/sports star celebrity friend, Megha:
The curls in her hair stood out,
It made me want to know
Her tangled up folk lore,
Of days past as she grew old.
The antics and funny expressions,
Could only belong to her
That contagious smile of hers,
It could make the whole world glow.
Her passion for reading poetry,
Her shorts and basketball,
They all make her who she is:
The funny and tall drunkard.

ReplyDeleteआपका ब्लॉग देखा, मुझे आपकी एक आदत बेहद शानदार लगी , रोज एक ब्लॉग को कुछ अलग अंदाज में लिखना.. जिंदगी के पन्नों पर कई कहानियां होती है , कई ऐसी बातें हैं जो अपने होने का अर्थ खोजती है, कुछ ख्वाब.कुछ अजनबी से लोग और भीड़ में कभी अकेला गुजरता हुआ मन..लेकिन इनको कुछ ही लोग पढ़ पाते हैं.कुछ तो ऐसे भी हैं जो अपने आप को भी नहीं जानते ..खैर अच्छा ब्लॉग है.. लिखो कुछ इस तरह की हर पन्ना गुलाब सा लगे..जियो इस तरह की जिंदगी की किताब मोहब्बत सी लगे..
