Day 132/366

If I were a parrot,
Repeating what you say,
My life would just be boring,
No thoughts in shades of grey.

If I were a pirate,
The Captain of the sea,
The winds and sails at my bay,
An eye patch just for me.

If I were a lover,
Mushy and gay and blind,
I'd reek of whiskey and cigarettes
And not be repulsed with my find.

If I were to be you,
I'd rather just be dead,
Too many to please,
Too much of sleaze,
A thorn ridden bed.
