Day 143/366

The strangeness of a new city
In all its entirety for one to explore,
The smells and colors and people
The winding lanes and street hawkers.

Go by a bus or a train,
Forego the leisure of flight,
Feel the pulse of the common man
Enjoy the scenery with genuine delight.

Look at your countryside before foreign lands,
Drink the chai when you stop somewhere.
A roadtrip's just as beautiful
With travelers whose interests you share.
