Day 295/366

You have to support the local music scene. You don't necessarily have to like what everybody listens to. But if it's even a niche culture, it exists for the few who do follow it. And it can't all be bad. The ones with labels and sponsors taking them on tour are luckier than these buggers who give it their all to make good music and find their sound. They don't demand 2000+ bucks for just them performing. They take a little money that possibly helps them buy better gear or recording equipment and make both ends meet. For the rockstars and international acts, it's just one show in the many lined up all year round.

Don't blindly put your money where you don't get the returns. If you have the money, save it for a good act, be it big or small. Invest in that experience. If all you remember of it is that you got smashed with your friends & danced & somehow woke up in your bed the next morning, it's not worth it.
