Day 21/366

The Death of the Jumping Jack
Someone left the tap open-
And the room he was in did flood,
Though the paramedics checked later,
There was just no sign of blood.

The jumping jack stayed in,
The box was his only home,
But he never would know,
How the world outside his flowed.

Into a tumultuous river he went,
Afloat till he finally drowned.
There was nothing left of him,
No clothes, no smile, no sound.
