The wonderful Gerald Durrell
Suggested that if naturalists go to heaven
He should be so lucky to encounter
A troop of flightless parrots called kakapo to amuse him
Instead of television.
I wholeheartedly agree,
Though I would much rather
The company of big cats,
Or the precious night monkey douroucoulis.
